Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins Brings Congress to Kansas Next Week in Atchison and Topeka

WASHINGTON – Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins is pleased to announce her upcoming Congress to Kansas listening tour events. Continuing her commitment to the people of Eastern Kansas, Congresswoman Jenkins will travel to Atchison next week to hold a listening session and host open office hours in Topeka in order to listen to Kansans’ concerns and update them on what’s been happening in Congress.

“Each week I am back home, I enjoy my time traveling around Eastern Kansas talking with folks and listening to their thoughts and concerns about issues we face as a nation.  We have some great events set up for next week, and I hope to see some good crowds to discuss the important budget debates we have been having in Congress,” Congresswoman Jenkins said.

Note:   “Open Office Hours” are one-on-one meetings with Congresswoman Jenkins.  They are open to any resident of the 2nd district in a first come first served capacity.  The meetings will last between 5-10 minutes depending on demand.  Congressional staff will be on hand before and after the private meetings to handle any additional casework requests.

Walk-ups will be allowed if the meeting slots are not filled.
