Congresswoman Jenkins Tours 16 Local Businesses In Grantville, Perry, Garnett, Burlington, Osage City & Atchison

TOPEKA, KAN -  This week marked National Manufacturing Day to honor the workers and the industry at the heart of America. As part of Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins’ (KS-02) continued efforts to tour local businesses, meet with employees, and to mark National Manufacturing Day this week, Jenkins toured 16 local businesses in Grantville, Perry, Garnett, Burlington, Osage City, and Atchison.

“My commitment is and always has been to listen to Kansans and bring Kansas values to Washington,” said Congresswoman Jenkins. “That is why it is extremely beneficial to hear from our local businesses and talk with employees and their customers about their impact on our communities and their concerns on a federal level. I’ve always believed that the genius of America does not come from Washington D.C.  Instead, the solutions to our biggest problems can be found in our local communities.”
