TOPEKA – Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins (KS-02) attended Topeka’s first-ever Veterans Day Parade today. She released the following statement on the importance of honoring our nation’s veterans and all men and women in uniform.

“As we attend events and parades on this Veterans Day, let us all remember why we are able to enjoy the many freedoms of our country. Our nation’s brave veterans, devoted service men and women, and their loved ones who support them each and every day have made countless sacrifices to protect American lives and liberties for hundreds of years. We owe them an enormous debt of gratitude. Thank you for your service and dedication to our great nation.”
