TOPEKA—Next Thursday, April 4, Congresswoman Jenkins will hold an open house to announce her new office location in Independence. Congresswoman Jenkins released the following statement ahead of the event:

“The Second Congressional District spans from the Nebraska to the Oklahoma border, and includes a diverse group of Kansans from rural and urban areas,” said Congresswoman Jenkins. “Montgomery County is a major population center in southeast Kansas and it is important to me to be highly accessible to folks in and around that area.”
