WASHINGTON – Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins is pleased to announce that Colin Thomas of Baldwin City, Kansas is working as a congressional intern in her Washington, D.C. office.
 
“Colin has been a great addition to my Washington staff,” Jenkins said. “His personal drive and strong work ethic have allowed him to hit the ground running. I am confident Colin will serve the folks of Kansas well.”
 
Thomas recently graduated from Baldwin High School where he started BHS for Vets, a veteran recognition ceremony during the halftime of a football game. He will attend the University of Kansas this fall.  He is on the Dole Institute of Politics Student Advisory Board. Colin is the son of John and Becky Thomas of Baldwin City, Kansas.
 
“It’s a privilege to work on Congresswoman Jenkins’ staff,” Thomas said. “I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to start a career of service right out of high school.”
