Atchison Native to Intern in Washington, D.C.

WASHINGTON – Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins is pleased to announce Courtney Campbell of Atchison, Kansas, is working as a congressional intern in her Washington, D.C. office.
 
“Courtney has been a great addition to my Washington staff,” Jenkins said. “Her great personality and strong work ethic have allowed her to hit the ground running. I am confident Courtney will serve the folks of Kansas well.”
 
Campbell is a junior studying political science at Washburn University. She has been active on campus, holding various leadership positions and completing multiple community service projects. Courtney is the daughter of Robert and Allison Campbell of Atchison.
 
“Working with Congresswoman Jenkins and her staff has been an amazing opportunity and an eye opening experience,” Campbell said. “Learning about the way our country runs and all the work that goes into making it better has positively changed the way I view our representatives. I have enjoyed this amazing learning experience here in Washington, D.C.”
