22nd Annual Academy Day

Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson will host her 22nd Annual Military Academy Day at Duncanville High School. The program provides high school students with the opportunity to hear from representatives from the armed service academies. This is an opportunity for students to learn more about the opportunities military academies offer for college. 

Congresswoman Johnson has organized this annual event as a way for parents and high school students to meet with representatives from each of the service academies. Congresswoman Johnson wants students to be informed about the options and career paths that the service academies offer. Each service academy will present their school and answer questions about the rigorous nomination and acceptance standards that each academy has. Military Academies offer $400,000 education free of charge and guaranteed job placement upon graduation!
