WASHINGTON, DC . . . Today, Rep. Ralph Hall (TX-04) voted in favor of a resolution (H.R. 567) to form a Select Committee to investigate the terrorist attack in Benghazi on the 11th Anniversary of 9-11. The resolution, which passed 232-186, was prompted after the White House was forced to reveal previously concealed information relevant to Congress’ request for documents.

Following the vote, Hall made the following statement:

“Answers about the Benghazi terrorist attack on September 11, 2012 are long overdue. I am pleased to support this Select Committee investigation and have every faith that my colleague Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) will lead a serious, respectful, and thorough investigation. This investigation is necessary so that the full truth will be revealed, justice can be meted out for the four Americans killed that evening, and future attacks can be prevented.”
