Washington, DC...Today Congressman Ralph Hall underwent surgery to repair damage to his hip resulting from an automobile accident yesterday in Fannin County, Texas.

Doctors at Medical Center at Plano indicated that the surgery was successful and that he is expected to make a full recovery.

Congressman Hall has been in good spirits and appreciates the thoughts and prayers of friends and colleagues.  He will make a personal statement at a later time.

He is grateful that the drivers of both vehicles were not injured and is grateful for the excellent care provided by the first responders and the doctors and nurses at Medical Center.
