Requesting Letters of Support

My office is happy to consider requests to submit letters of support on behalf of constituent organizations applying for federal grants.

In order to process your request for a letter of support we ask for the following

  1. An electronic draft (Microsoft Word preferred) of the letter, including:
    • Name and address of the appropriate grants officer and granting agency
    • Identifying grant opportunity number or CDFA number
    • Dollar amount of funding that you are requesting
    • Description of your organization and your connection to the community
    • Description of the benefits the grant funding will have for the 5th Congressional District
       
  2. An electronic copy (PDF preferred) of the executive summary or abstract that you are submitting with the grant application.

    We will make every effort to respond to your request within 7 business days. We will send a PDF copyof the letter to you via email. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Laura Lambert in the District Office at 612-522-1212 or by email.
