Paulsen to Host Second-Annual Job Fair in Bloomington on April 20
Over 50 Local Job Creators Will Be On Hand

Eden Prairie, MN– With the national unemployment rate still unacceptably high at 8.9% and too many people out of work, Congressman Erik Paulsen today announced that he will be hosting a job fair to help Minnesota job seekers meet with local businesses looking to grow.  The job fair, which is free and open to the public, will be held at Normandale Community College on Wednesday, April 20 from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm. So far, over 50 different businesses, representing a variety of industries will be in attendance.

“While the recession may have made it hard to find work, Minnesota companies are in fact hiring,” said Rep. Paulsen. “This job fair will be an excellent venue to connect Minnesotans looking for work and the job-creators looking to hire them.”

Businesses interested in participating in the job fair at no cost should contact Congressman Paulsen’s office at (952) 405-8510. To find out more information, or to RSVP on the Congressman’s website, click here.

Paulsen, a champion of small business and advocate of free enterprise, entrepreneurship, and innovation currently serves on the House Ways and Means Committee, and is co-chair of the Congressional Korea-U.S. Free Trade Working Group and co-chair of the House Medical Technology Caucus.
