Washington, D.C. – In continuing efforts to get all the information regarding the IRS’s targeting of citizens and groups based on their personal beliefs, Representative Erik Paulsen (MN-03) took time during today’s Ways and Means Committee hearing to question acting IRS Commissioner Daniel Werfel on if, and why, groups were asked for their donor lists. Paulsen also pressed Commissioner Werfel on  how we can ensure this targeting never happens again.

Paulsen, a champion of small business and advocate of free enterprise, entrepreneurship, and innovation, serves on the House Ways and Means Committee, the bicameral Joint Economic Committee, and is co-chair of the Congressional Medical Technology Caucus.
