Paulsen Named “Best of Congress” by Working Mothers Magazine

Recognized for Valuing Education and Training for Working Families and Businesses

Washington, D.C. – Representative Erik Paulsen (MN-03) today was awarded the 2012 Best of Congress Award by Working Mothers Media and Corporate Voices for Working Families. The Award is given to select members of Congress for their leadership in supporting working families through legislation and advocacy. In addition, it recognizes those members of Congress who “practice what they preach” by employing family-friendly policies in their own offices. This is the second time Paulsen has received the award.

“I am truly honored to receive this award for supporting working families,” said Rep. Paulsen. “As a proud father, I recognized the importance of a work life balance and will continue to promote education and training initiatives that help both working families and businesses alike.”

Recipients of the Best of Congress Award are featured in the most recent issue of Working Mothers Magazine.

Paulsen, a champion of small business and advocate of free enterprise, entrepreneurship, and innovation, currently serves on the House Ways and Means Committee and is co-chair of the Congressional Medical Technology Caucus.
