Paulsen Announces Service Academy Appointees

Washington, D.C.– Congressman Erik Paulsen (MN-03) has announced this year’s appointments to the U.S. Service Academies. To attend an academy, students must obtain a Congressional, Vice-Presidential, or Presidential nomination. In order to be appointed, nominees must complete a lengthy application process and prove their aptitude in academics, athletics, and leadership.

“These students represent the best and brightest of what our youth has to offer,” said Paulsen. “Even though these students had a number of college options, the fact that they have chosen to serve our nation is humbling and inspiring. While their road will not be easy, they have the tools it takes to be successful.”
