Miami Herald: Five Miami business owners to be given Small Business Person of the Year Awards

Five local business owners will be be given SBA South Florida District and State of Florida Small Business Person of the Year awards on Saturday, during a Small Business Workshop hosted by U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz at the Broward County Convention Center.
 
Honorees include Ricky Brantley, president of Viking Defense in Miami; Patricia Bonilla, president of Luncacon Construction Group in Miami, Elizabeth Karwowski, president of Get Credit Healthy, in Miami; and Daniel Bittner and Maxim Weitzman, owners of Concept II Cosmetics in Miami.
 
Broward SCORE will be presented the South Florida District 2014 Small Business Media Advocate of the Year and the SBA State of Florida Small Business Media Advocate of the Year Award.
