WASHINGTON—Recently, Congressman Stockman introduced H.R. 4883, the National Rare-Earth Refinery Cooperative Act, in response to China’s growing monopoly on the rare-earth mineral industry. It is the House companion bill to S. 2006, which was introduced in the Senate by Senator Roy Blunt (R-MO). Since then, this legislation was referred to the Committee on Armed Services.

WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Stockman released the following statement Monday morning after the United States Supreme Court struck down an EPA plan to regulate carbon dioxide as an unconstitutional expansion of its authority:
The Supreme Court convicted Senate Democrats of conspiring to kill jobs.
The illegal EPA plan the Court struck down was supported and funded by Senate Democrats as part of their larger plan to downsize the economy. Senate Democrats were told Obama’s EPA scheme was unlawful and a job killer, and they funded it anyway.
