New congressman answers to citizens

The Cleveland Advocate's Rachel Hall reports, in part:

Local elected officials, citizens and reporters filled a room at the Liberty Center on Feb. 19 to hear Congressman Steve Stockman (R-36th district) address the community at his first town hall meeting since being elected as the representative for the newest congressional district in Texas. His appearance in Liberty came on the heels of a meet-and-greet event at Holiday Inn in Cleveland.

At both events, Stockman highlighted some big news out of Washington, but quickly turned the time over to the audience for a question-and-answer session. He responded to concerns about issues such as congressional spending, cybersecurity, immigration and gun control...
