I am committed to the successful implementation of the Affordable Care Act. Whether you're seeking more information about the Affordable Care Act, comparing and shopping for new health care plans through Access Health CT, or have questions about your new coverage, my office is here to serve as a resource. Per the Affordable Care Act, anyone without health insurance coverage after March 31, 2014 will face a tax penalty.

Enrolling Through Connecticut’s Health Insurance Marketplace

Access Health CT
The Open Enrollment period for 2015 coverage begins on November 15, 2014 and ends on February 15, 2015. After the Open Enrollment period, you can still enroll for health insurance if you have a life-changing evet, such as losing your job or moving to a new state.

People under age 30, or those who are older than 30 and have an Access Health CT-approved hardship or affordability exemption, may purchase a “catastrophic” health plan through Access Health CT from the following individual marketplace insurers: Anthem, ConnectiCare, and Healthy CT. For more information on "catastrophic" health plans, visit the "coverage" section of Access Health CT's FAQ.
