Flag Requests

Congressman Sarbanes is pleased to assist the people of Maryland's Third Congressional District purchase a United States flag. Flags may be flown over the U.S. Capitol Building and dedicated to any person, organization or event. Flags may also be flown on a specific date, including weekends and holidays. Each flag is individually boxed and includes a certificate of dedication.

There is a fee associated with flying a flag over the Capitol. Price varies according to the size and material of the flag you request. Once your request is received, Congressman Sarbanes' staff will contact you to verify your request and confirm your payment preference. Checks should be made out to “Office Supply Account, Maryland Third District” and sent to:
