Academy Nominations

WII Dedication

It is such an honor for me to be able to nominate Massachusetts students to our Nation’s service academies: West Point, the Naval Academy, the Air Force Academy and the US Merchant Marine Academy.

To begin the process, high school juniors should send a letter to my Boston Office with your name, address, phone number, and email address.  Please mail it to this address:

U.S. Senator Edward J. Markey

ATTN: Service Academy

JFK Federal Building

15 New Sudbury Street

Boston, MA 02203

Once we have received your letter, my office will mail you out a Service Academy application.  There are five things that you need to submit to my Boston office by October 31st of your Senior year:

1.  a personal data form (included)
2. your high school transcript
3. your SAT scores
4. three letters of recommendation
5. a wallet sized photo

The Congressional Nomination process ends on January 31st of your senior year.  If you have any questions about the nomination process, please contact Rocco DiRico of my Boston Office at 617-565-8519 and/or rocco_dirico@markey.senate.gov
