Lodi Congress at Your Corner Rescheduled for August 18 from 5-6 PM

Stockton, California – Congressman Jerry McNerney has rescheduled tomorrow’s planned Congress at Your Corner in Lodi to August 18 from 5pm to 6pm. The location will remain the same: Scooters California Grill, located at 121 W. Elm Street in Lodi.

The event was rescheduled because Rep. McNerney had to remain in Washington to vote on border security legislation in the U.S. House. That vote was originally scheduled to take place on Thursday, July 31st, but was delayed until Friday, August 1st by the House Republican leadership to allow them to try to secure votes for passage of the bill.

“I am very disappointed that I can’t be in Lodi on Friday as planned,” said Congressman McNerney. “I apologize for any inconvenience, and look forward to meeting with everyone later this month.”

Over the years, hundreds of people have attended Congress at Your Corner events at locations like libraries and coffee shops. Since taking office in 2007, Congressman McNerney has held dozens of these events in the communities he represents.
