    The Keystone XL pipeline has met all the requirements this administration has demanded and more. There is no reason not to approve this pipeline. It would strengthen our energy security, boost local economies, and create a lasting economic ripple effect throughout the country.     For over a decade the gray wolf has surpassed Endangered Species Act goals, warranting a delisting that returns management to the states. Finally, in 2013, the Fish and Wildlife Service agreed to allow Wyoming to manage wolves under our carefully crafted plan. But now the wolf is back on the list and a federal judge in Washington has overturned Wyoming's plan on a technicality.

  • Cowboys Against Cancer
    Rep. Lummis with Dooley, a very large stuffed monkey shown around Washington to raise awareness for Cowboys Against Cancer, an organization designed to help pay for travel costs incurred by people in Sweetwater County who have to travel for cancer treatment. Rep. Lummis was pleased to sign Dooley’s vest and join in raising awareness of this group and their important work.

Two of his proposals the city council supported were to use coatings of a paint like substance that allows graffiti to be washed off with water and to use the 311 app so that people can immediately report graffiti.
