CONGRESSMAN PITTENGER INVITED TO JOIN FRIDAY’S CONGRESSIONAL HEARING IN GASTONIA

CHARLOTTE – To better understand how Obamacare is impacting hardworking Americans, Congressman Robert Pittenger (NC-09) will participate in Friday’s Congressional Oversight and Government Reform Committee hearing in Gastonia, N.C.

At the invitation of Congressman Patrick McHenry (NC-10), Congressman Pittenger will deliver an opening statement and join the committee in questioning witnesses.

“For every Obamacare success story, there are three or four dozen stories of cancellation notices, lost jobs, reduced hours, or small businesses unable to expand due to crushing costs,” said Congressman Pittenger.  “These are real people with real stories of suffering caused by a misguided law sold to the American people as a panacea.”

The hearing is scheduled for Friday, November 22nd, 10 a.m., at the Gaston County Courthouse in Gastonia, N.C.

On Thursday afternoon, Congressman Pittenger participated in a Google Hangout with several constituents who shared their concerns about cancelled insurance, exploding premiums, and job losses created by Obamacare’s medical device tax.  To view a replay of the Hangout, click here.
