Undocumented Students

Students pursuing higher education face many challenges; for undocumented students those challenges may at times seem insurmountable.  However, many undocumented students have successfully completed college. Below are resources undocumented students may find useful as they move forward with their education.
 
  • Undocumented Student's Guide to College
    Assembled by the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (ICIRR) this comprehensive guide  for undocumented students is a great place to start navigating your way to a college degree.
  • Private Scholarship Guide
    Seven pages of scholarships undocumented students are eligible for, compiled by the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights.  
  • MALDEF Scholarship Guide
    An exhaustive list of scholarships, many which undocumented students are eligible for, compiled by the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund (MALDEF).
  • Illinois DREAM Fund
     Undocumented students who graduated from high school in Illinois are eligible for this scholarship.
