This Veterans Day, we honor the men and women of our military across the country. Their sacrifices have allowed America to remain a beacon of freedom across the world –and have granted Americans at home security, peace of mind, and pride. We remember those who have fallen through the generations, and thank our current troops dispatched in Afghanistan, Iraq, and around the world.
Today, House Republicans celebrated the veterans of the past and present.

This day is not only one of remembrance, but one of reminder. House Republicans have made answering the calls of our veterans a priority — finding solutions to better health care, job creation, and economic opportunity. But our work is not over — in the 114th Congress we will continue to work for our veterans. Those who have made the ultimate sacrifice earn the ultimate priority.
Thank you also to the veterans who are now serving members the 113th Congress.
