He has 122 co-sponsors, more than 50 percent of all Republicans in the House.

Governor Brewer Issues Emergency Declaration for Yavapai County

Governor Jan Brewer today signed a Declaration of Emergency in response to the fast-growing Doce Fire, in Yavapai County. The fire is burning through the Prescott National Forest, about 8 miles northwest of town. The declaration makes available $100,000 from the Governor’s Emergency Fund to support emergency response and recovery efforts associated with the fire. Funds disbursed by the Declaration are not available to reimburse homeowners for damage caused by the fire or evacuation costs.
