Washington, D.C. - Following the House vote today to pass H.R.4133, the United States-Israel Enhanced Security Cooperation Act of 2012, U.S. Rep. Gary Peters issued the following statement:

“The past year has seen the most significant changes and unrest in the Middle East in generations, which has resulted in increased threats to Israel. I am fully committed to the safety and security of the State of Israel as a Jewish State and their full right to self defense and that’s why I was proud to co-sponsor the United States-Israel Enhanced Security Cooperation Act.  Israel is our greatest ally in the Middle East, and this vote reaffirms that the United States will continue to stand in support of Israel in both word and deed.”
