Pontiac, MI - To mark Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, U.S. Rep. Gary Peters issued the following statement:

“Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. knew that the only way to achieve equality and economic justice is to bring communities together. To truly honor Dr. King, we must carry on his charge to ensure that everyone in the Greater Detroit area has the opportunity to succeed.
