Pontiac, MI. - Today Rep. Gary Peters issued the following statement to mark Veterans Day.

“On this Veterans Day, we honor the service and sacrifice of brave men and women from all walks of life that have put on a uniform and protected our nation. Additionally, we must rededicate ourselves to supporting our active duty troops as the war in Afghanistan continues and the war in Iraq comes to an end. America can never truly repay the debt we owe our veterans, but today and always, we pay our respects and give our gratitude.”
