CONGRESSMAN PETERS TO MEET WITH LOCAL HIGH-TECH START-UPS AT AUTOMATION ALLEY TODAY

Troy, MI – Congressman Gary Peters will meet with representatives of local technology-based businesses today at Automation Alley Headquarters to highlight new businesses contributing to economic diversification in Michigan, learn more about the companies and listen to business’ owners views on what elected leaders can do to help Michigan’s economy grow and further diversify. 

Rep. Peters will also provide an update on the work of the House Science and Technology Committee, of which he is a member, and discuss small business tax relief Congress has passed this year.  Officials from three of the new hi-tech companies will provide brief presentations on their businesses.  Around one dozen other Automation Alley member and client businesses will also be in attendance, as well as Oakland County officials.
