SUGAR LAND, TX- Rep. Pete Olson (TX-22) welcomed a new group of students on Saturday to serve on his 2014/2015 Congressional Youth Advisory Council (CYAC). The advisory council is comprised of a group of high school students from across the congressional district who serve as Olson’s advisors on issues critical to the youth of America.

“This is the fourth year that students have participated in this council and I am continually impressed by their knowledge, interest and engagement in the political process,” Rep. Olson said. “These exceptional high school students will learn about the legislative process and inform me of issues that are critical to the future of this great nation. The council is comprised of our future community leaders and it’s a pleasure to have the opportunity to hear from and work directly with them.”

In its fourth year, the CYAC consists of high school students from across the 22nd Congressional District in Brazoria, Fort Bend, and Harris Counties. #TX22CYAC
