Rep. Marino’s District Director to Attend “Pocono Proud” Event to Recognize Community Response

Washington D.C.—Congressman Tom Marino’s, PA-10, Lycoming County District Director, Dave Weber, will attend the “Pocono Proud” event hosted by local legislators to honor first responders and several other community entities who worked together following the attack on Pennsylvania State Police at Blooming Grove Barracks.

Congressman Marino said the following of his absence at the event:

“I am very upset to be unable to attend. I also want to personally thank law enforcement and the people of these communities for the invitation. My duties in Washington require my attendance here but everyone should know just how proud I am to represent them. The attack on our State Troopers was met with solidarity and teamwork. We should honor everyone who came together. Everyone from business owners to students and law enforcement volunteers worked together in a way that is truly exemplary. I am so proud of their strength and want to thank every person involved with this incredible effort.”
