Congressman Marino issued the following statement about Veterans Day and his attendance at this event:

“It is a great honor to be invited to speak at this event and I am very appreciative of all the good people in the Montoursville community who came together to plan and host this special event. There are never enough words that hold enough weight to adequately express how deeply appreciative I am for every single veteran, past, present and future who willingly serves or served in defense of our great nation and the ideals we uphold.

These men and women have earned the respect and admiration of the American people tenfold. They and their families have sacrificed so much well-being and contentment in service to the American cause. My hope is every American takes time to thank a uniformed soldier today, or call a family or friend to thank them, or attend an event like the one here in Montoursville to show their gratitude and unwavering support for those who served.”
