Because it has embraced the Affordable Care Act (ACA) to its fullest potential, California is leading the way for a new era of accessible health insurance coverage. As a result of the Affordable Care Act, over a million and a half Californians now have new financial assistance to afford health coverage. With one in 10 Americans living in California, our success here will determine the success for the nation’s future.

Washington, DC – Rep. Gloria Negrete McLeod (D-Chino) released the following statement commemorating the 50th anniversary of President John F. Kennedy’s signing of the Equal Pay Act into law, landmark legislation addressing pay equity amongst women in the workplace:
Washington, DC - Today, Rep. Gloria Negrete McLeod (D-Chino) announced a new feature on her website which will enable constituents to better understand and help answer questions regarding the implementation of health care reform through the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
