After POTUS requested support from Texas members in the House
Today, Congressman Roger Williams (RTX-25) responded to President Obama’s request for support of the Texas delegation in the U.S. House of Representatives by inviting the President to meet with the Texas congressmen.
Williams states that President Obama differs from the Texas delegation in their end goal for solving the immigration crisis unfolding at the U.S.-Mexico border. President Obama has asked for $3.7 billion to expedite the legal process, while Williams supports efforts to seal the border first.
