AMENDMENT DESCRIPTION:
Amendment sought to make available $2 million from Bureau of Census program funding to create a report that augments Hispanic origin data from the 2000 census.

AMENDMENT PURPOSE:
An amendment numbered 28 printed in the Congressional Record to increase funding for the Census Bureau by $2 million in order to faciltate more accurate counting of Hispanic subgroups.
