Press Release

Washington, D.C. — Rep. Matt Salmon (AZ-05) today issued a Dear Colleague to Republican Members of the House of Representatives urging them to consider this administration’s repeated actions before moving legislation that would reform our immigration system.

“The one question being asked by both the American people and the Congress is simple, ‘Can we trust President Obama?’  If the President truly wants to advance initiatives he is passionate about, he must stop attempting to bypass the duly enacted laws of Congress and start to rebuild the trust he has shattered with these self-serving and political policies.”

The full text of the Dear Colleague is available here.

Rep. Matt Salmon (AZ-05) serves on the House Committee on Foreign Affairs as Chairman of the Subcommittee on the Western Hemisphere. He is also a member of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce.
