Internship Opportunities

Internships

Both our Michigan and DC offices accept interns all-year round, on both a full and part-time basis. In both of our Congressional Offices interns assist with office work and learn about constituent services and the legislative process. In the DC office, interns have a chance to attend briefings and Congressional hearings. While in the Michigan office, interns have the opportunity to attend district-wide events.

Internships are available expressly for the purpose of furthering educational objectives. They are usually unpaid and awarded to college-level students.

How to Apply

There is no application deadline. Interns are accepted throughout the year on both a full and part-time basis.

Priority is given to applicants from Michigan's 9th congressional district, although all interested persons are encouraged to apply.

Please submit a cover letter, resume, and a brief writing sample via this form.

If you have any questions concerning the program, please do not hesitate to contact:
