Paulsen Sworn In as 113th Congress Convenes

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: January 3rd, 2013

Paulsen Sworn In as 113th Congress Convenes

Washington, D.C. – Rep. Erik Paulsen (MN-03) issued the following statement after being sworn into the 113th Congress. Rep. Paulsen kicks off his third term representing the Third Congressional District of Minnesota in the House of Representatives.

“I am humbled and grateful for the opportunity to serve the people of Minnesota’s Third District and I look forward to working with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to find solutions to the challenges facing our nation. Reigning in government spending to address the national debt and reforming our out-of-date tax code to grow our economy are essential to providing economic security for Minnesota families and small businesses. I will also renew my effort to protect thousands of Minnesota jobs by repealing the medical device tax, as well as work to find new markets for made-in-Minnesota goods.”

Paulsen, a champion of small business and advocate of free enterprise, entrepreneurship, and innovation, currently serves on the House Ways and Means Committee and is co-chair of the Congressional Medical Technology Caucus.
