Paulsen Statement on Budget Agreement
Leaders Avoid Government Shutdown

Washington, DC – Rep. Erik Paulsen (MN-03) released the following statement in response to the agreement reached this evening, avoiding a government shutdown: 

“I’m pleased that our nation’s leaders reached an agreement to avoid a government shutdown,” said Paulsen. “We did what we said we would do to keep the government running and cut wasteful Washington spending. I’m also encouraged to know that the brave men and women of our Armed Forces will continue to receive funding. With this matter now behind us, I look forward to the next steps in getting control of our nation’s debt crisis and growing our economy to get people back to work.”
