Paulsen Statement on August Jobs Report

Eden Prairie, MN – Representative Erik Paulsen (MN-03), a member of the tax-writing Ways and Means Committee, issued the following statement regarding the unemployment report released by the U.S. Department of Labor this morning.

“Today’s employment numbers come as no surprise to the millions of Americans still out of work. With no net growth in jobs, and an unemployment rate which has surpassed 8 percent for 31 straight months, we can no longer afford policies which place a premium on erratic spending and job-crushing regulations,” said Rep. Paulsen. “And as long as the Administration stands in the way of pro-growth, common sense policies, there simply won’t be enough jobs to replace the millions being lost.”
