Erik's Correspondence Corner: STOCK Act & Budget Reform

Washington, D.C. – Continuing his efforts to keep the lines of communication open with constituents, Rep. Erik Paulsen (MN-03) took time this week to directly respond to questions sent in from Edina and Coon Rapids on the STOCK Act and budget reform in this week’s installment of “Erik’s Correspondence Corner” video series.

Each week, Representative Paulsen receives thousands of letters, emails, tweets, Facebook posts, and phone calls from constituents voicing their opinions. Through this video series, Representative Paulsen will regularly respond to constituent correspondence on a variety of topics.

“It’s unacceptable for anyone in Washington to gain investment advice, or information to their benefit, on insider information.”

“Members of Congress should be held to the same standard as the people we represent, if not higher. That’s why I’m a co-sponsor of the STOCK Act.”

“Washington has a tendency to go from budget crisis, to budget crisis. That’s one of the reasons the House has passed a budget that addresses spending issues and pays down the national debt.”
