"I am proud to support this legislation, which further cements the United States’ commitment to the safety and security of Israel and its people.

"The security of Israel and the path forward for peace can only be achieved by expelling Hamas from Gaza, eliminating Hamas’ stockpiles of rockets and weapons and closing the tunnel network that exports terror into Israel. As peace remains the ultimate goal, we must continue to ensure Israel has the capabilities in place to shield their citizens from Hamas’ chosen path of terror."
