What's On The Floor This Week? - 4/7/2014

This week, the House of Representatives will be in session Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Below is the tentative schedule of legislation that could come up for a vote this week.

The House will consider the budget released by House Budget Chairman Paul Ryan, amongst other pieces of legislation.

These scholarships are reserved for only the best and brightest students and professionals and it’s a great honor to represent so many of them in Congress.

One of my proudest accomplishments has been the creation of a program called “Hero Miles,” which enables Americans to donate their unused frequent flyer miles to wounded warriors and their families. Extending Unemployment Benefits Should Top Congressional "To-Do" List

While there are still many things topping Congress’ end of the year, “to-do list,” chief among them must be extending unemployment benefits for millions of jobless Americans.  If Congress does not extend benefits, 1.3 million Americans will have their benefits cut off on December 28 and another 1.9 million will lose them during the first half of next year.
