Grants.gov provides a comprehensive listing of federal grant opportunities available across all government agencies. The website is a central storehouse for information on over 1,000 grant programs and provides access to approximately $500 billion in annual awards.

Nonprofit.gov is USA.gov's portal to links on grants, loans, management and operations, and tax information.

Business.gov helps small businesses understand their legal requirements and locate government services from federal, state and local agencies. This site provides links to help individuals start a business, register their business, apply for grants and loans, and more.

Statelocal.gov provides government resources for state and local government employees, including information on disasters and emergencies, grant and financial management, health and families, and more.

Cops.usdoj.gov is the Department of Justice's grant information page regarding funding for criminal justice activities. This site offers a summary of OJP and COPS formulas and discretionary grants provided by state.

Federal Funds Express, published through the House Information Resources site, offers a full list of grants and other funding resources. This page covers the basics on where to find grants and how to apply for them, and offers resources for small businesses, assistance on how to obtain state and government funding, and more.

Federal Register, published through the National Archives, is printed each business day and publishes updates and notices affecting federal assistance programs. To find listings, scroll down to check the current year; scroll down further to enter Catalog program numbers, or type the subject/keyword you are looking for in the search terms box.  

Today's Federal Register & Archives, available through the Grantsmanship Center. This site offers training for grant applicants and provides updated grant announcements, department and agency announcements of grant application review meetings, application deadlines, requests for comments on agency procedures, new rule reminders, and special events listings. 

Federal Aid to States, published through the U.S. Census Bureau. This site lists the federal aid that has gone to states between 1998 and 2006. Figures are presented to the state level by program area and agency.

Consolidated Federal Funds Report, published through the U.S. Census Bureau. In this report, grants generally represent obligations and include payments both to state and local governments and to nongovernmental recipients. Data is provided for state and county levels.
