North Whiteville Fire Department
Dear Friends,
Our firefighters are some of the first to respond to an emergency in our communities. I am pleased to share with you that the North Whiteville Fire Department has received $75,791 in federal funds for operations and safety improvements. The United States Department of Homeland Security has awarded these congressionally appropriated funds through its firefighters assistance program.
Ensuring that our fire departments have the resources and tools they need to do their job is a priority for me, and I am pleased these funds are coming home to help the North Whiteville Fire Department. We must do all we can to protect our citizens and communities, and these federal resources will help do just that.
