More Broken Promises on Obamacare

Washington, D.C.—Today, Rep. David B. McKinley, P.E. (R-WV) released the following statement after a report by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) indicated more than 11 million Americans working for small businesses will have higher premiums due to Obamacare:

“When this health care law was sold to the American public, President Obama promised the American people that their health care premiums would go down by as much as $2,500,” said Rep. McKinley. “Add that to the list of broken promises. Eleven million hard-working people around the nation who work at small businesses will have less money in their paychecks each month to make ends meet. Too many Americans are already struggling to get by. Now they face higher health care premiums. We can do better.”
