The Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations, chaired by Rep. Tim Murphy (R-PA), on Wednesday held a hearing to explore the recent safety lapses at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention involving anthrax, smallpox, and an avian influenza virus.
