Committees and Caucuses

Rep. Denham sits on the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, the Agriculture Committee, and the Veterans’ Affairs Committee.

A position on these House Committees leaves Rep. Denham perfectly situated to address key concerns among Central Valley residents. Through Committee hearings and votes, Rep. Denham will continue to focus on federal agriculture policy and reform, infrastructure development, and veterans’ issues.

The Transportation and Infrastructure Committee has jurisdiction over all Department of Transportation programs, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers programs, and the Transportation Security Administration, among other programs. The Committee website can be found at: http://transportation.house.gov.

The House Agriculture Committee has jurisdiction over Department of Agriculture program; general farm commodities and risk management; conservation, energy and forestry; horticulture, research, biotechnology and foreign agriculture; livestock, rural development and credit among other programs.
