On Tuesday the Constitution was read aloud in its entirety on the floor of the House of Representatives. Congressman George Holding joined fellow Members of Congress in the reading, led by Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte. This is only the second time the Constitution has been read aloud on the House floor, the first time being at the beginning of the 112th Congress.

RALEIGH – U.S. Congressman George Holding (Republican, 13th District) has announced that he is co-sponsoring a bill in the House of Representatives that would amend the United States Constitution. According to Holding’s office, the bill would require that the federal government operate on a balanced budget.
